Well... I guess he was referring to the ability to use the BCB6 compiler and
libraries to compile "old" projects. But it won't support (at least so far)
the VCL in their RAD enviroment. So, right now, if you want to edit and work
under old projects, you have to edit the GUI part using the BCB6 IDE, and
compile using BCB6 compilers. You get pretty much an improved editor, wich I
really don't need.

So, as you say, I won't move to BCBX until they provide us a true RAD way to
edit our old projects, and until they have a real version of the new
framework. But it will take years to get the number and quality of
components we already have. If I will move all my code, maybe it will be
better to move it to Delphi, at least I will keep my components.

I am fully agree with you. In my case, if bcb6 would be no more developed by
Borland, i'd rather move to C#Builder than to Delphi. The components market
for C#B seems to grow very quickly. And the IDE has true RAD. C# is much
nearer to C++ as Delphi is, in my opinion.
