Embedded Nexus Application locks on close when Portal is running

I have an application using embedded. It will lock up whenever I try to shut it down if the Portal (either host or control) is running.

Is there a way around this?

Does it reproduce with one of the NexusDB3\Examples\Delphi\Embedded
apps? Is the host or control app running as a service, or on the
desktop? And are they our standard delivered exes?

I haven't tried on of the provided apps. I will do that.

The Host and control are both delivered EXE's and neither is being run as a service.
