Hannes,
| NexusDB database files should ALWAYS be excluded from AV scans. I've never done that. Is there an extent list available? Does it include those ANNOYING left-over SQL files from EM? -- Q 08/31/2010 13:26:49 XanaNews Version 1.19.1.278 [Q'sBrokenToolBar] |

Thorsten,
| Well, if you ever create a view, trigger or stored procedure, then | deleting them means you are deleting whatever you just created... Ah. Understood. I guess I'm relatively safe since I have NOT done any SQL at all. <g> However, I guess I'll stop referring to them as "left-over garbage" now that I have an understanding of what they're for. <g> Thanks for the explanation! Aside: I've been lurking your exchange in the Embarcadero NG's about Packages, Uses, registration, etc., ... Cool! ;-) -- Q 09/01/2010 09:23:47 XanaNews Version 1.19.1.278 [Q'sBrokenToolBar] |
