Default Status of running as a Service on Vista/Windows 7

Hi

Does anyone know the status of running the host as a Service on Vista,
Windows 7? I know it was being worked on.

Can this be expected to work reliably, and is there an outstanding issue
list I can see?

I've got 3.63 installed.

Thanks a lot.

Can someone answer this question from Tony as well?

It looks from inspecting the code & the test I've just done like there
has to be a user logged in, and that unattended host functionality is
not supported. Is this true?

If not, it's OK I understand when Microsoft's 'service hardening' means
and how difficult this is.

Unattended host functionality is supported. 3.64 adds much better control over
the service login functionality

The issues in this post are all resolved for 3.64. In 3.64 are also 2 simple
ICP pipes that can be used to check whether a host is already running and/or
close a running gateway.
