For more > information on that please contact sales. > Hannes, Thanks... it turns out I wish I had just spoken DIRECTLY to the customer's accountant who was using Crystal Report (instead of the company's President)! It turns out that the accountant (controller) has been using Crystal Report for the last 10 years as a "data export" utility! After talking with him this evening and ASSURING him that I could "export" data from NexusDB to Excel, we both agreed to get rid of the "middle man"! So NO ODBC required! Best Regards, Shane |

Actually I'm seriously wondering how many people use reporting tools for actual reporting as opposed to a fancy export utility of data ... That said, ODBC on it's own is a very good solution for exporting data to programs like Excel, which is IMO a far better data presentation solution than CR anyday. -- |
