Summary 0000282: Gateway embedded in Host, Viewer and Control
Description There should be a separate version of the Host, Viewer and Control with the Gateway component and functionality embedded into them. This would make it easier to use Portal in configurations where a separate Gateway PC is not needed because all connections cab be Peer-to-Peer.

 This would be a nice option. better yet would be a version that does not use the gateway at all instead does a direct connect. Currently the gateway acts like a proxy server where it forwards all the packets.

A direct connect host would be the best option, similar to how the orginal product worked before the gateway.
