rtcPortal

I have downloaded the relevant Rtc Files and found some very useful
features, which were added by Nexus, i.e. "Organization", missing.

Will they be integrated into rtcPortal, or will we have to do this
ourselves?

Kind Regards
Wolfgang

Re: rtcPortal

I have just started looking over changes and additons made by the NexusDB
team to Nexus Portal source code, so I can't say now what will and what
won't be added to RTC Portal, nor how long it will take me to finish this
process. But I can say already that some features will not be added at all,
and other features might be added using a different approach than used by
the NexusDB team.

If you do NOT need support, but you want to use features released by the
NexusDB team in "Nexus Portal", you can use the "Nexus Portal v3.72"
release. Just remember that you won't be able to use Nexus Portal with the
latest RTC SDK version and I can't help you with Nexus Portal components and
Projects. When using Nexus Portal, you should also take into account that
some features, even if added to RTC Portal later, might be implemented
differently, so you won't be able to simply switch from Nexus Portal to the
latest RTC Portal release later.

Re: rtcPortal

We are supporting a multitude of Clients via Portal, and it is very
convenient to see, which Companies are logged in, apart from the
individual Clients. (They are also grouped together by "Organization"),
which I found to be very useful.

It's not a major change and I think it would enhance your product very
nicely.

I am pretty sure, that I could do it myself, but for the sake of
continuity (not having to repeat this every time an upgrade is done), it
would be just soooooooooooooo nice.

Kind Regards
Wolfgang

Re: rtcPortal

I will be focusing my efforts on extending the flexibility of RTC Portal
components instead of adding features to Demo Projects. And one of the
things I plan to add is the option to include more information in the login
process through user events (things you can implement). This way, after you
implement your own functionality inside your Projects, you won't have to
make changes when a new RTC Portal update is released.
