ALTER TABLE takes over 50 times longer to add a primary key than doing it in the EM R

Hi, Eivind or Thorsten,

I was wondering if you had been able to take a look at these issues:

https://nexusdb.com/mantis/view.php?id=2187

They are making...

Re: ALTER TABLE takes over 50 times longer to add a primary key than doing it in the

Hello, Eivind,

No, the index did not exist, as I'm replacing existing indexes with names like
'IX_Account_ID' with constraints that would generate an index name such as
$SQL$UNIQUE$INDEX#0 with a...

Re: ALTER TABLE takes over 50 times longer to add a primary key than doing it in the

Thanks, Thorsten,

I incorrectly assumed that both processes (BuildAndEvolve/EM and ALTER TABLE) did the same thing: create a new table and copy all the records. That's why I thought this was an...

ALTER TABLE takes over 50 times longer to add a primary key than doing it in the EM

Hi,

I'm trying to move away from using the BuildAndEvolve *.PAS routines and have started creating scripts to make all schema changes through SQL and ALTER TABLE statements. However, I have found...

TOP 1 is returning the last record, instead of the first one, when DESC is used

Hi,

I created an issue in the tracker for a problem that shows up in v4.13. I think it comes from v4.10 (I'm still stuck in v4.0015 because of this issue and another issue with query optimization I...

Why are we getting this result? Is this a bug?

We just found we are getting different results here:

SELECT -155.189999, -(155.189999) FROM #dummy;

Result: -155.189999, 155.189999

Is this a bug? Tested with v4.1201.

Regards,
Arturo.
