![]() Hi there,
i have a little problem with the nxserver/client. We are using nxserver 1.08 (adapted from Hannes for tcp/.net transport) and a programm written in vb.net for syncing tables to an access or mysql database. The client is now in betastadium but i have troubles with the connection speed. I can syncronise tables with 4 columns and 64000 records in 5 minutes. The nxfilesize is 12mb. When i will syncronise a table with 500000 records and 21 columns the the nxserver takes 100% cpu speed for more than 90 minutes before the syncronisation begin. We have enough RAM in the machine (more than 2GB!). Have anyone any idea for this problem? Many thanks Christian Schuller c.schuller et it-service dot at IT-Service Austria |

![]() Hi Hannes,
that's not the problem. When I zip the db (54mb) and upload to a ftp-server where you can download it, is this ok? Sure, please add a password and send me a mail to hannes at nexusdb where and how to unzip. THanks -- Hannes Danzl [NexusDB Developer] Newsgroup archive at http://www.tamaracka.com/search.htm |

![]() Hi Hannes,
sorry for my late answer, but i solved this issue today. In the past I tested this with your nxserver v1.08 with the "Direct TCP/.NET Transport". Today I have downloaded the nxserver v2.06 from the nexus Homepage. I run the server and configured it. Now the load average is 2-3 minutes by 90% cpu usage for the 300mb table, then the select works fine. Is the nxserver2 from the webside a time trial or can i use this? Many thanks and greetings from Austria. I assume you downloaded from here: http://www.nexusdb.com/showpage.asp?Id=68 If that's the case these are full versions without expiry. -- Hannes Danzl [NexusDB Developer] Newsgroup archive at http://www.tamaracka.com/search.htm |

![]() Hi Hannes,
That's right. The v2.061 works fine and the replication with the database and mysql works great. The time is shrink to 2 hours for 5.000.000 records over 6 tables. The cpu load is more than 80% increased for the queries. There are many arguments to use this.
