Some questions

Hi,

I use NexusDB V1 and I want upgrade to NexusDB V2.
I have 2 big applications with NexusDB V1 to convert.

some questions:

1) in my applications I make use of the RFS Plugin...
Does it exist for NexusDBV2? Terry ?

2) my software is continually updated... for this use
NxSourceMaker to restructure the Tables.
Does it exist for NexusDBV2?
Roberto ?
...in alternative NxCodeGun exists...
does it work with NexusDB V2?

Hi Alessandro,

i'm not going to create a NexusDb V2 version of NxSourceMaker in the
near future. First because i'm full of work and second because i
will stay with NexusDb1 for the moment.

All sources are included with nxSourceMaker. Roberto has already made it
clear that he wouldn't be updating nxSourceMake anytime soon, if he does at
all. I am quite sure he wouldn't mind if someone else would take the relay
and improve nxSourceMaker if he has time for it. If you have some time to
put in the project, many of us would really appreciate it. I personnaly make
a very good use of nxSourceMaker and I can't see how I could replace this
fantastic tool. I really appreciate that in one file produced by nxSM, I can
add new tables, restructure tables. Plus it is very easy to write callbacks
procedures and link everything with a progressbar or else.

If you have time, I'd say go for it.

That'll sure be a BIG help to me! It's one thing to copy someone else's
source code and another to actually understand it! And until I can extract
the datadictionary source from my own tables I won't be able to reverse the
process either!
