Question Server configuration and deployment

Hi

I need to distribute Nexus with the same settings on the target PCs as my dev PC.

Running the server in interactive mode I save the settings as nxServer.nxdbsettings and put that file in the same folder as nxServer.exe on the target PC.

I then install nxServer as a service and start it, but it doesn't pick up the settings from the settings file... How do I get it to do that?

I found that changing the name of the file to nxServer.init caused it to be read and the settings applied.

The init file doesn't contain user names/passwords. I guess I'd need to run a utility program to create the users and change the admin users password?

Is there up-to-date documentation for deployment and configuration? Sorry to ask, but if there is, I'm struggling to find it...

I would recommend that you create users access rights and such from a program
viat the interfaces provided for it on TnxSession.
