Does adoprovider works from NetCore on linux?

It's not something we have tested, and it is not currently supported
out of the box. I suspect there would be some work required on our side.

The UWP version of the provider has the highest chance of just working out of
the box on it I think. But haven't done any testing.

Depending on how complete the .NET api implementation of .NET Core 2 is, the
normal full provider dll might even work as long as you don't want to use
native mode.
