Default Visual Studio

Hello,

I have a small question regarding NexusDB and Visual Studio.
Currently there is the ADO.NET provider that can be used to work with
the .NET environment inside visual studio, but I was wondering if there
is a means to use the .lib files from Nexus and create a custom DLL in
Visual Studio for VC++.

The reason i'm asking is that we plan to move our development IDE to
visual studio and .NET, but there will be various things that we need to
do in C++ due the lowlevel nature of the applications. It would strike
me convinient if there was a DLL or .lib file that could be used in VC++
so we can keep using the NexusDB without having to jump on .NET.

I can probably imagine that can build a .NET component that replaces the
Borland components for us using the ADO.NET driver.

It'll be a fair bit of work, but sure, it can be done. That is, the DLL
will likely need to be made in Delphi/C++Builder.

Afaik, it does not exist for NexusDB.

Its possible some other 3rd party has implemented a TDataset to ADO.NET
bridge that could be used (I don't know of any though).
