Default Installation Question

I have visutal Studio 2012 installed along with Embarcadero Prism. When
I install the ADO.NETprovider from Nexusdb, there is a screen telling
which development environments it will install in...

That screen is empty.

Is that why I do not see the ADO.NET provider in Visual Studio or Prism?

More complications and partial solutions.

I am running Visual Studio 2012 on a 64 bit windows 7 computer.

The nexus ADO.Provider is a 32 bit driver. To get windows to recognize
this creature, I had to use the following code:

c:\windows\sysWOW64\odbcad32.exe

It brought up the 32 bit odbc administrative driver manager. I was able
to see and test the ADO.Provider using it.

However, I am still not able to see the driver in Visual Studio 2012.

I am sure it would be seen if I were working in a 32 bit environment ...
but it simply does not see it in the 64 bit environment.

I thought computer was supposed to be getting easier....

VS 2012 logic has not yet been added to the installer, but it will be
worked on shortly.

Without having actually investigated yet, I am pretty sure that such
drivers need to be registered in the registry and/or the GAC. Logic for
this must be added to the installer.

I installed Visual Studio 2012 on Win7/32. next I installed NexusDB
ADO.NET connector/provider.

Using the odbcad32.exe did NOT show an ADO.NET connector (assuming it
only shows ODBC, which I did NOT install).

from VS2012 I was NOT able to see/connect the nexus databases on my
system. How do I get this working ?
