Talking Embded Ado.provider.net

hi
i embded the ado.provider.net in my excutable file but how could i refer to it ?
also how can i register the ado.provider.net on another without installing the whole .net package just the dll i need !

I'm not quite sure what you mean here. We don't distribute the source of the
ADO.NET provider, so you can't compile it into your exe directly.

Do you just mean that you place the provider dll in the same folder as your exe?

You don't need to register the ado.net provider to use it in code.

You can directly reference the provider dll as an assembly, then use the
NexusDB.ADOProvider namespace to create instances of NxConnection, NxCommand,
and so on directly.

What you can't use without registering the provider in the system is to use the
DbProviderFactories based indirect way of creating connections and other
objects.

i dont want to distribute the .net package to clients .. so i only have to place the dll in the same folder of the exe !

And explicitly reference the assembly.

And create the NexusDB specific connections/commands and so on in code (not
depend on anything that goes through the DbProviderFactory registration system).
