Default Newsgroup search CAPTCHA

Why in the world would you have the need to request a newsgroup user to enter a CAPTCHA to do a search?

Most of the time the colour of the text blends in to perfectly with the background that you either get the captcha wrong, or have to refresh a few times to get one that is readable.

I just don't see any need for this kind of security on a search page.

I recommend you use the XanaNews client and its built in search, or go to codenewsfast.com and make use of the nexusdb^ searchterm.
