You either didn't add the Linq assembly to the project, didn't modify the
..config file, or didn't do a build of the project between adding the
reference/modifying the config and trying to generate the model.

Well, that worked. However, I am now getting this errror:

Are you using the build 280 .net provider and a 4.10 server with the connector
dll from the build 280 provider?

I am using the Visual Studio Pack, which comes together with an NxServer.

That's an old version. Please download and use the newest version from the
customer login on our website. You also should have gotten an email with the
update notification.

I had to give up on it, as I spent more time on this, than I actually have.

Is there a chance that, you could make a very simple step by step
instruction for community 2015 available?

Or maybe let me know, how I can get hold of the version which you have
used to create the existing example?

The .NET provider and the examples have been created and tested using the
Visual Studio Professional 2015 that's available as part of an MSDN
subscription.

You didn't tell us yet wether you are using build 280 of the provider,
as Thorsten pointed out?
