Try to use WideString field type instead of Shortstring. Changed to Widestring but still the same problem.
I also made a little testprogram with the same codebase where one side is working with the NexusDB and the other works with mySQL to control the settings on the page . The mySQL works fine but the NexusDB has this problem micael Quote:

Micael, I sent you deployed version that works fine, at least, with
Cyrillic charset. Please test and let me know.
