![]() Hi All,
The first issue of the 44-page international edition of the Blaise Pascal programming magazine has just been published at http://www.blaisepascal.eu/ People can register on the website to be able to download the free edition, or you can purchase the printed edition (for world wide delivery) for a special price of only 25 Euro for the first year. The magazine contains several articles about Delphi but may also cover Kylix, Free Pascal / Lazarus, Chrome and related languages. For the first issue, I've written an article about Delphi 2007 and VCL Component Building (with a follow-up article already planned for next issue). See the table of contents for the other articles, and please help spread the word by telling your Delphi programming friends about this new publication! The articles in the first issue seem to be targeted at new Delphi programmers. Now, given that fact, I am forced to conclude that you should relocate more than 5 miles distance from your current home! |

Thanks for your help. Jon -- ________ According to the Seattle Times, this year the State of Washington will not issue parking permits to fish. So, I guess salmon won't be alowed to park anywhere this year. |

On second look, I can see the web page is quite ambiguous (maybe by design). After registering, enter email address and password and click on Login. You should be presented with a page of detail and the link to "LOGOFF". (Which now means that you are logged in). On the Menubar select download | PDF downloads. You should then find a link "klik hier" (Which I take to mean "Click Here" :-). The PDF download starts and you can save it (change the name to March2008 - I had to do that step later). I'm off to do some reading .... -- Malcolm Townsville, Australia |

I just went back and tried it again. This time all I did was click register and was taken to the register page, entered my details and clicked the submit button. Downloaded the free version OK. Unless it's a problem with your browser - I'm using plain old IE7 CYA Steve |
