Default Manually Building 3.04 Developer's Edition with C Builder 2010

And I have gotten this linker error:

Checking project dependencies...
Compiling NexusDB304db140.cbproj (Release configuration)
[ILINK32 Error] Error: Unresolved external
'Nxllplatforminterface::nxIsUIThread' referenced from C:\PROGRAM FILES
(X86)\EMBARCADERO\RAD STUDIO\7.0\NEWVCL\NEXUSDB3\CBUILDER14\RELEASE\NXDB .OBJ
[ILINK32 Error] Error: Unable to perform link

Elapsed time: 00:00:00.3

Any ideas on how to fix it?

Best Regards,

Shane

Hi Shane,

There is a thread not too old that says how to solve it. Even Thorsten said what was the
correct way (implementing a specific function for that). The way I "solved" it initially
was just removing the code that uses it with an IFDEF.

HTH,

The relevant change has been included in 3.05.

Any chance of getting a "beta" 3.05?

Shane

I will check the newsgroup again ... somehow I seem to have missed it!

Thanks,

OK... that was easy... now to get all my other components installed so I
can figure out how painful this update is going to be!!

Best Regards,

Shane

P.S. I am referring updating my programs from C Builder 2007->2010 ...
not upgrading NexusDB!

As announced, 3.05 will be released shortly after RAD Studio XE availability.

With the release of C Builder XE in the near future, you might want to consider
going directly to that.

It all depends on my 3rd party components unfortunately. This is the
reason I have held off so long going to C Builder 2009/2010.

Shane
