Syntax

<ceiling function> ::=

{ CEIL | CEILING } ( <numeric value expression> )


Notes

♦ The CEILING function returns the smallest whole number (scale 0) that is greater than or equal to the argument.
♦ The data type of the result is the same type as the argument.
♦ If the argument is null, then the result is null.
